Rosetown Photography Club
The Rosetown Photography Club was established in Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1983 with a group of 17 members. Over its history, the Club's membership has fluctuated between 10 and 20 members who meet monthly from September to May, in addition to monthly activities including field trips. A vibrant, active club, the Rosetown Photo Club participates in photography competitions, helps to host the annual Rosetown Art Show, displays members' work at three venues throughout town, holds an annual digital slide show, and organizes numerous other events including guest artist workshops and lectures.
In addition to learning and display opportunities, members have access to the Club's collection of equipment, which includes a projector, scanner, printer, and mat cutter, allowing members to make large prints of their photographs and to create digital slideshows of their work.
The Club is a member of the Rosetown and District Arts Council and the Prairie Region of Photographic Arts, and has been a part of the National Association for Photographic Arts.
